by Anita HolmanAs I stood at the gas station this week, pumping liquid gold into my gas guzzling SUV, I had the revelation, “nothing will ever be the same again.” I need to suck it up, move on and learn how to survive in this new, leaner world. The circumstances we’ve faced over the past few years permanently changed public mindset. People are no longer competing to have the biggest car, the biggest house and the highest paid job; or at least the majority are not. Most are just trying to hang on to what they have, in their personal life and in business. But when you look at different ways to crawl out of this hole we’ve dug ourselves into, just hanging on isn’t good enough.
